The collection donated by Fortum contains some 300 works by 125 mainly Finnish artists. The aim of the Fortum Art Foundations is to own and works mainly connected to the tradition and history of oil, power, and energy industries. The Foundation also promotes Finnish fine arts and the research of art history by attending and adding to the collection and by putting the art works on display by borrowing works of art to exhibitions in Finland and abroad by supporting Finnish art
